By subscribing to Trendaudio, you will receive the catalogue on DVD-ROM, take advantage of it in real time and simultaneously choose and test tracks! Moreover, you will be able to access all sorts of music productions within our database and receive our weekly updates!

Q > If songs are not royalty free, how and when royalties are paid?
A > The license we grant can cover the permission to use our songs for TV and radio spot, promotions and signature tunes depending on which territory (regions, states, countries) it is requested for. Copyright royalties are paid just to synchronize songs to DVDs, CDRoms or any other multimedia device. Royalties price can be considered low since you can get, by flat rate, around 1500 licensed songs.

Q > Once the yearly subscription has expired, will it be possible to use tracks/songs acquired beforehand?
A > Once the annual subscription has expired, it will be necessary to reactivate the service to be able to access and use the Library. Once the company will receive the new annual user's licence with its subscription, you will again be able to receive weekly updates and take advantage of our customer service.

Q > Will the subscription be automatically renewed after the expiration date?
A > No. Simply go to the subscription page and click on accept to reactivate the service.

Q > How can I pay for the annual subscription?
A > With a simple postal bulletin or through bank transfer. You will then quickly receive the new licence, the fiscal invoice, any updates and reserved access to the website.

Q > My company produces websites. Can the product be used as musical content within a website?
A > Yes, it can. Please make sure the licence is registered under the website owner's name. Furthermore, every year you will have to request a new licence for each website (58€). It is mandatory to include music production credits on the website.

Q > My company produces websites. Can the product be used for different web sites?
A > In this case, the PREMIUM subscription is the most suitable solution. It is mandatory to request the licence for each website.

Q > My company produces audio-visual media. Can the product freely circulate?
A > Yes, the licence allows your company to synchronize the Library's music with video; then, the product can freely circulate.

Q > What should I do if the company wants another duplicate in the following years?
A > The company must be covered by the SMALL subscription, which allows it to use the licence that will have to be submitted to the local copyright office(BMI, ASCAP, SOCAN, MCPS-PRS ALLIANCE..)

Q > I have produced a video, which will be showed on a local TV. Do I have to obtain a new licence?
A > Yes. The local broadcaster needs to subscribe or request a new annual licence (for Radio broadcasting - within local areas - the cost is of 58,00€, while for local TV is 98,00€

Q > What if the broadcasting takes place on several TV or radio stations?
A > The PREMIUM subscription will be necessary.

Q > If I produce audio-visual media and I want to use my licence for broadcasting, will one account be enough?
A > Only with the PREMIUM subscription you can use the Library for both video productions and for regional broadcasting (or on various local stations). For specific requests write us: info@trendaudio.com

Q > My company produces audio-visual media: can I use the Library 's music on my video for public demonstrations?
A > Yes. But you do need to fill out the appropriate form at your local copyright office and you have to specify the title and the author of the music used.

Q > My company produces audio-visual media: can I use the recordings for duplicates?
A > Yes. When you will request local copyright office stamps, you will have to bring the license required by the local copyright office (BMI, ASCAP, SOCAN, MCPS-PRS ALLIANCE) and specify the recording's title and author.

Q > What if the audio-visual media or Cd-Rom is enclosed with a magazine on national distribution?
A > A new licence is not necessary.

Q > Can I cut or lengthen the size of the songs?
A > Yes. However, you cannot insert sounds, melodies or modifications on a song.

Q > Can I insert a voice-over for a commercial?
A > Yes, sure!

Q > How do I use the final credits within commercials breaks or radio jingles?
A > There is no need to use them.

Q > Is it possible to buy a song?
A > It is possible to request a new, customized musical passage without purchasing the master copy. In this case, the passage will be later inserted within the Library (its cost is 298,00€). However, it is also possible to buy the master copy. In this case, you will retain its rights and you will be able to use it forever (estimates are available upon request). Still, it is not possible to buy the author's copyright.

Q > Is a private use of the Library possible?
A > Yes, it is. Copies of the Library's musical production can only be used by members of the subscribed company.

Q > Can I modify a song?
A > No, it is not possible to modify it unless you have authorization to do so. However, it is possible to cut and lengthen it and use parts of the same passage.
